This guide handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for your Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar provides you with a number of 3 taming rods, every one is different and makes it possible for you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.
